Hi, I've never managed to set up the Tomtom for live traffic reports etc. Although I have managed to pair the unit up with my phone for bluetooth connection so that I can make hands free calls etc, trying to connect them both for internet connection has proved beyond me. I've been to Tomtom's help pages etc and even inputting their suggested settings manually has not worked. I've also spoken to Tomtom directly and they have passed me to Vodaphone my service provider, who in turn has passed me back! Am running around in circles... help!! |

You definitely got GPRS enabled on the handset? I had a PAYG Vodafone sim and had to phone-twice-to get them to enable it at their end. If so, have you been to the Sony-Ericsson site to get settings sent to your handset? |

Hi, thanks for your reply - yes I can access the internet on my phone without any problems, and I have indeed paid a visit to the Sony Ericsson website. I input their settings also to no avail. I keep thinking there must be an easy way to do this, it should all be so simple! |

I can't get my 720 to get wireless data from my Sony Ericsson K800i. I can get the internet fine on my my handset. It doesn't work either on my o2 PAYG or my Vodafone blackberry.
There are people who say they can get this to work on these forums and I believe them. But I am having no such luck. |

O2 PAYG will not work with the TomTom server so get another sim card from either T-Mobile or Orange both of these are known to work using PAYG, O2 is a no go area on PAYG it simply doesn't work, although O2 with a monthly contract phone is fine - Mike |

I live in Acton London. Does anyone with a 720 they can connect to their phone live nearby? I would love to see if my 720 can connect to their phone - just to see if there is no problem with my TomTom hardware. PM me if you can help. Many thanks. |
