Hi Guys,
What are the differences between North Up and Trail up?

'North Up' - North always top of screen;
'Trail Up' - Direction you are travelling in at top of screen (so display swivels as you change direction) _________________ David

Note that "Track Up" will generally reduce battery life as the effort to continually re-orient the map takes CPU power. In practice slight changes in direction may cause re-orientation of the map for every position it logs. _________________ Phil |

I would prefer the track up view to have some "inertia" to stop it rotating so often. It's quite hard to view when it jumps about. |

Also remember the device will only offer Heading Up mode if you turn off the Advanced Power control, it needs to be set to Normal rather than Advanced or you will allways have North Up - Mike |
