Has anyone tried & had any experience of these mounts from Hama?
They're all available from 7dayshop.com at quite reasonable prices, you buy the main base, then add the required adaptor.
Surely nothing can be as bad as the Tom Tom OEM mounts? |

The mount top left looks just like the one supplied with my last Medion PND. Top right looks like ones I have for both Medion & Mio PDA's.
Perhaps Hama supplied these companies
No better or worse than TT's. |

Hama buy their mounts from HR (Herbert Richter). HR are the biggest manufacture of these mounts and well respected. They supply many of the big names including TomTom in the past before they went and had the designs copied in China and they stopped working properly (funny eh!).
We touched upon some of the Hama products a while back here. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Combine the "4 prong" system with a car specific Brodit Proclip and device specific holder and you have the premium solution for mounting all sorts of devices.
In my both my cars I have these fitted (two in the Mazda 2) and rotate the devices (phone, ipod and Garmin) accorning to my need at the time. _________________ Terry

I have two of the mounts top left one in my car and one in the wifes and I have trouble taking it off the windscreen because of the excellent suction.
