Yes for those who have UK in their profile (very few do). And then we'd still have to encourage everyone else to change.
We're not just a UK site and so the easiest thing to do is ask. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Mind you, they changed it from when I was in the reserves - I learned Lima to be read as as "Local" time, e.g. BST. Looks like they changed it (again) _________________ Roger, G1LIW

OK, we've implemented a change such that you no longer have to carry out this change twice a year!
We've also set all your profiles back to GMT (for those that were GMT+1). From now on we will change the server time when the clocks go back/forward and that will be all that requires changing.
Only if your local time-zone is different to UK will you need to change the time-zone setting and even that will be a once only exercise. _________________ Darren Griffin |

OK, sorry if I'm thick but I adjusted my time to GMT+1 when requested and the time was right.
Now you've reset everybody to GMT and I'm an hour behind again. Are you saying that I have to reset to GMT+1 and then thereafter will not have to change anything? _________________ Mike

This is an error on our part. We're looking into this and if it's necessary to change to GMT+1 we'll do it en-masse.
Sorry for the confusion! _________________ Darren Griffin |

Now fixed and all back where we were (or should have been) at GMT+1.
Now we can change the server TimeZone as necessary we'll also change your profiles to GMT and back to BST remotely as necessary.
The earlier issue was due to a misunderstanding on my part, apols all. _________________ Darren Griffin |
