That's how it always is. The Satnav is not accurate enough to know which lane you might be in, and changing the graphics to that level would be an almost impossible task. _________________ Richard

P.S. I notice that your posts seem to have spare "formatting tags" e.g. the [/b] above. As a relatively new user, let us know what you are trying to achieve and we'll be able to help out.
As a general guide to make some text bold, click the "bold" button, type your text, and click the "bold" button again. This will give you a section in your text entry that will look like
This will be converted to bold text when you post. _________________ Jock

Jock,
I find it easier to highlight the text I want bolded and then just click the B button once. An advantage of doing it this way is, once done, you can then click the i button (if you wish) or the U(nderline button) or both and the original highlighted text will take on all the attributes.
(as you can see.....I just confirmed it with some text in my post. ) _________________ David |

What I am trying to say is that the demo doesn't show the motorway as 3 lanes both ways. Is this just a fuction of the demo mode or should I be looking to change settings? Again thanks for any advice |

It doesn't show 3 lanes in any mode, except in the lane guidance display. _________________ Richard

...which is a STATIC picture just for a few seconds at some major motorway junctions.
IF the data exists for a particular junction, it gets shown both in real navigation and in the demo route mode.
You can switch it on and off in Preferences/Hide lane images, but this preference affects both modes.
At no time will you ever see separate lanes in the normal navigation display. |

| If you can explain what you are expecting to see (if you have a screen dump so much the better!) we may be able to help, but based on the advice that you've received so far, I don't think that it's possible. _________________ Jock

Guys thanks for all your replies. I was expecting to see a depiction of a motorway on screen when driving along one. From you answers I now realize that this is not the case, and it just flashed on screen when nearing or at a junction with one. Thanks once again for all your help |
