|
|
Hi,
Just logged on to TomTom home and I'm being offered a 12 month subscription at £79.99, 6 months at £47.99 and the usual monthly one at £7.99.
Looks like the emails from TomTom last week were right just a little premature.
Any one else seeing these ?

Yes, my three month trial ends in early April. It appeared after I'd updated the GPs fix/ fuel prices along the bottom if the home screen. Just logged on to home again and nothing this time, but there was nothing to update either.

I had the same offer come up earlier today. I just reconnected and only the monthly is there now. |

Hi Fozzee, I'm glad someone else has seen the same message, looks as though the 6 and 12 month subscriptions will happen sometime soon.

I have just got the same email offering me live access on these terms :-
monthly for £7.99
6 months for £47.99/ works out at the same as monthly, £7.99
12 months for £75.99 reduced from £99.99/ £6.33 a month with the reduced price compared to £7.99 a month for the £99.99 annual payment! _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE

£99.99 annual payment, divided by the 12 month period, equates to the normal monthly payment of £7.99! _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE

Ha its ok, sitting here with a beer makes things a bit clearer!
Basically, the point of my post was that, apart from the reduced 6 month price of £47.99, the monthly, 6 monthly and annual pricing are EXACTLY the same price working out at £7.99! _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE

Beer helps? Last time I multiplied 8 by 12, it came out at less than 99.99. I'll go get a Stella, back in a tick. _________________ Dennis

Not only that, but when I got a Pass in my Maths GCE O level, my Maths Mistress asked who I'd been sitting beside in the exam room to copy from!!
I should drink more often. _________________ Dennis

You mean with a Stella that 8 x 12 DOES equal 99.99?
Maybe I should switch from Molsen's ..... _________________ David |

Think my calculator pressing went a bit off there, the general point was the same. no real benefit buy buying in bulk!
Off to bed to ponder the 8 * 12 question _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE
