NEW POI Convertor From Sygic - TODAY

Sygic have just released and added their very latest POI Convertor, this now has a button for doing conversions especially for the new McGuider 2009 and should stop people having the problems they have had in the past.

Just shows that Sygic are listening and acting on what us the users want.

I am fairly certain that nothing will need changing as the guys at Sygic have obviously been aware of the PocketGPS files and feel sure they would have taken all that into consideration.

The button is more aimed at those who have old McGuider files and wish to convert to the new format in one easy swing, instead of the headache some have had.

I can confirm this later this evening when I get home from work and can try out the various files/formats.

The new version was released on 27th January and just adds the new button to batch convert the 2008 UPI files into the 2009 version. It still retains all the features the older version had, including the ability to run the convertor from batch files.

Kingcarbonel used the new bulk 2008-2009 upi conversion successfully here.

edit to add. Any version of the convertor since 23rd January 2009 produces fully working upi files compatible with McGuider 2009 (versions prior to this had a number of bugs or produced files compatible with only McGuider 2008).
