yes, but how do you find the GPS position ?
By that I meant where it shows Around GPS Position (meaning your position), along route, around cursor etc.
If, as I thought, you meant customers to be different people or companies, then the way I said earlier will work.
Assuming you are adding Contacts e.g. Argos, after finding the address, for the first time, enter in to Contacts e.g. Birmingham Argos, Cardiff Argos etc.
Now when you want to visit the Birmingham store again do as I said earlier but enter the search as Birm Arg and it should pop up. There are occasions where you may need to enter a letter or two more but generally three of each will suffice.
To get a better idea of what I mean try looking up Asda. If you go through the normal proceedure you won't find any but go to Find POI's and using the Magnifying Glass earch, enter Asda. You'll see what I mean then about adding the Town before the shop name. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Is it possible to automate the two tap behaviour? something like this:
1) at the first section camera it start monitoring and displays average speed,
2) acoustic and visual warning if the average speed is over limit
3) every new section camera begins a new monitored section (without user intervention).
4) After the last section camera user double tap the camera icon to stop monitoring
In this scenario user intervention is required only once after the end.
That's a very good point, and I have tried to do it with the existing iGO detection module but it isn't possible. It would be possible by writing a new detection module for section cameras only, but that's a lot of work and the problem then is exactly which camera is the last section camera ?
It really needs the cameras to be identified as start, intermediate and end, but depending on where you join or leave a section an intermediate can be a start or an end !!

In actual version, if you aren't very carefully double tapping just before any section camera, you risk to travel across a section without monitor.
If you tap twice by accident (in the Ultra Skin) to cancel within a monitored section then the next section camera encountered will start a new monitored section.
Perhaps the answer is to just drive under the speed limit.

linknet, I said earlier that your Skin was perfect, I never realised you could better perfection but with v6.0.7 you have.
One thing I have noticed, which used to be handy, was when finding POI Along Route, in v5 you added the distance to the right of the POI where sometimes I found it was more convenient to maybe divert say 1 mile rather than travelling further on to a POI which was 0 yards away. In the back of my mind I think you said somewhere you wouldn't be adding this to v6 but could be wrong. Could you confirm one way or the other please? Thanks. It only works correctly if you are traveling directly towards your destination. I know that sounds stupid, but if you divert round a one-way system or pull into a car park to check directions it will show the wrong information. For that reason I left it out and won't be including it I'm afraid.

I supposed it wasn't easy to do, othervise every skins would incorporate my dream.
I like a lot your work and I thanks you for that, your skin is really fantastic, it's the closest to perfection I've found about section cameras.

I don't think so: the real problem is Igo8 switch behaviour:
If you can treat every section camera (first or intermediate) as the first and begin the monitoring (resetting the monitoring if it's already active), is ininfluent where you join the section.
Then after you leave the section the monitor is active, but this is not a problem, if you can deactivate it (thanks to Ultra) when you realize it.

The problem is not when you tap twice by accident, but when you forget it before next section camera, you enter in a new section but without monitor.

Sure, but I'm paranoid and I'm continuosly looking at speed, checking if I'm under limit when on a section.
I'd be very happy if I could relax, looking only at street and at panorama, knowing Igo is ready to warn me if overspeed.

Yes, I agree, but there's no easy solution since iGO8 doesn't provide the approach distance for section cameras. With that you could cancel automatically just before the next camera and iGO would start a new monitored section as you passed the camera.
The overspeed warnings work quite well if your regional maps have valid speed limits to save relying on the camera warnings.

Fair enough linknet, it's just I found it very convenient when planning a route in advance, with v5 I could see how far off along route the POI was and could add that as a via point rather than choose an on route one which could be some distance further on. Once done I would save the route ready for use when needed.
I can of course do similar with the green ,amber, red indicator triangles to the left of the POI, it's just your way was much easier.
PS Been out and found the lane indicators and signs nice and clear. Brilliant. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

What I have done, and nearly completed it is exactly what piri wants. What I have done is designed my own cam layer to display the average speed from the trip computer. When a specs is detected, it starts my average measurement and cancels the Igo one. At the next cam, the Igo routine resets the trip and cancels the Igo routine again and continues doing so until I cancel the display at the end of the specs zone. I have not yet got the fine detail done, such as it still displays if I switch to the menu etc., but it does work.

Yes, of course. PM me your email and I'll send you a copy. Only works in 320_240 though. And as I said, not yet fully complete and not suitable for 'public' use as it is.
I get nothing but FFUI errors when trying to use this favorite skin of mine :-( 8.3.2.64873, of course, 320x240.
Upon start or going into Settings, vRotationAngleNavMap is complained about. When trying to go into Map mode, vDiriconVisible is missing. Then it fails to open vhcl_car.bmp and the whole program crashes. After copying this BMP inside the appropriate folder inside Data.zip (it is there in other folders, including Common), the map appears but any tap brings up a Drive Safely screen and nothing else happens. With the default skin, iGo works flawlessly, so I don't think it is any problem with the program or the installation (but having seen a similar post in the beginning of this thread, I double-checked Data.zip and, to all extents and purposes, it seems to be just all right. I also tried restoring all user data just to be sure but no cigar.
I don't like the idea of downgrading back to iGo 8.0 but I don't like the idea of being without Ultra skin, either... :-)

You have the wrong version of data.zip, either 8.3.1.xxx or before. These don't have a reference to vRotationAngleNavMap so the program will crash.
You must use the 8.3.2.64873 data.zip which corresponds with the version of iGO8 you are using.
The Data.zip has no version identification (if this is a recurring problem, it could have a version.txt inside, I guess), but the program itself shows the correct version and it runs correctly otherwise. I don't really have any idea of how and why I should or could mix different versions of files...

Neither do I, however the variables vDiriconVisible and vRotationAngleNavMap were missing in versions of the data.zip prior to 8.3.2.xxx so you can draw your own conclusions.
Can you add 480 x 800 and 800 x 480 pixels WVGA to your skin?
I know you've been asked by many this question but recently i got a htc hd for myself and i would realy like to have igo8 with your skin on it!
I still wait for nav n go officials to launch the original update to igo8 8.3.x.x.x.
So maybe i'll get lucky and you'll have that rezolution i need for your skin ready and i will be able to use it by the time they will launch the new igo8!
