Night Filter it's very useful.
What about the idea to "see" the amount of darkness when you set this filter?
That would work in daytime when the button is white but not at night when the button is already black.
My idea of including the on/off button on the quick menu was that once you were happy with the night filter value you would just be able to turn it on and off. Therefore the value setting would only need to be used occasionally and a simple slider would suffice.
Let say I want to visit a new customer in Paris, I will have to enter nearly the full address as destination, then get the contact around ... then it's more easy to keep in mind the address, then fully enter it as destination !
Why not as in Tomtom, search for contact !? But that's something Igo should achieve by itself ! not by a skin

If it's a new customer you would have to enter the full address on the first occasion anyway, then Save as POI/Contacts.
If you have to vist again then
Find/POI/Around GPS Position
In the POI Groups tap on the Find icon (Magnifying glass) and enter customer/company name.
If for example the customers name is Pierre Didion you would only have to enter Pie (space) Did and it will probably pop up. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
And NO that's NOT me in the Avatar.
... by entering the address as precise as possible ... cause you can have many contacts in the area.
The "Find contact" is a weakness of Igo, thatīs it, I live with that, I will live with that, I was just asking if it can (simply) be managed by a skin. If not, or not interested, no problem, case closed.

I think you're making heavy going of this, it works well for thousands of contacts or POI's, and you've only got around 200 contacts.
If you select a position anywhere near Paris on the map the saved search around cursor will give you a list of all contacts within a 400 km radius, this will include all contacts in Paris and some more, then use the search facility within the list.
If you are reasonably near to Paris, say 100 km, then you can use the saved search around GPS.
There's never really any need to enter an address, just from the map select 2d mode, tap anywhere near location, Detour, saved search around cursor.
I agree, itīs possible, but let be fair, thatīs not very convenient.
Why not "Find ► Contact ► Name ...... " ???
But I will use what you have proposed
Because if you have a list of 10,000 or more to search through then a search for name can bring up many items with similar letter sequences, the iGO system narrows the search considerably, in fact if you tap the map reasonably close to where you think the contact is located it's quite often on the first page of search results.
Suppose, for example, you often visit a chain of 200 shops with the same name but in different towns, for this the TomTom method is useless, it just brings up all 200 shops in no particular order, the iGO search will usually find the correct one near to the location immediately.
ok, and what are you doing in your contact manager with your 200 shops with same names ? itīs still possible to find them, So I donīt see why Igo couldnīt get them. But as I say, forget about that, thatīs not a big problem.

It's an example, but why not, I might need to visit all the "Argos" shops in the UK. They're all called "Argos" but in different locations. What other name can you give them ???

Added Version 6.0.3
- Added a working section camera cancel function to the section camera warning icon. The first "Tap" cancels the warning sound as usual and the second "Tap" now actually cancels the section camera so that the next section camera encountered will begin a new monitored section.
Is it possible to automate the two tap behaviour? something like this:
1) at the first section camera it start monitoring and displays average speed,
2) acoustic and visual warning if the average speed is over limit
3) every new section camera begins a new monitored section (without user inrtervention).
4) After the last section camera user duoble tap the camera icon to stop monitoring
In this scenario user intervention is required only once after the end.
In actual version, if you aren't very carefully double tapping just before any section camera, you risk to travel across a section without monitor.
