|
|
I have one of the original version TT One XL....
I've just updated the device to the following...
App 8.010(9368/080529) OS: 190943
GPS v1.21
Boot 5.3026
Map v815.2024
Should i be able to get the lane guidance and iq route facilities, or is my device too old for these features ??
Thanks |

Lane Assist and IQ Routes are not available for your device they are limited to the Go-x20, x30 and x40 devices - Mike |

You need to be using a version 8 Navcore release on the device and a v8xx map.
The current latest are Navcore v8,300 for the software and v815 for the maps, you can check your map and software version by tapping the sat strength meter then the version box, the resultant screen will show your lots of information about the device and what is installed to it - Mike |

many thanks for replies, I think I'm nearly there ....
my 720 is showing App 8.300 - which if I understand this right means I've got the latest OS via TTHome. (GPS v1.20 & Boot 5.5015)
My maps are showing v705.1480
So am I right to think that if I upgrage to latest maps (is that navcore?) then I'll get lane guidance, amongst other things.
Sorry if this sounds obvious but your explanations (if I've got it right) are way ahead of what is available on the TT website ....
thanks |

You have the latest Navcore (the software) which currently is version 8,300
Next you need to update your map to the latest available which is v815 this version has been available for over two months now and should be replaced by a newer map within the next few weeks, you will have to pay for a map upgrade as this part isn't free like the software - Mike |
