Well i've messed about with the database and tried it. As i said above, doing the exact same run over and over, if under the limit nothing happens except for the icon appearing. Over the limit icon, alert and bongs.....
Works both on my local junction with simalar setup and the Anstey Road setup.
If i go out later and i remember i might install the original non-CM database and try it too...
I do see what you mean about the help file in POILoader and i did read it several times.... |

Loaded the Consolidated database today - plain vanilla copy, no Ash10 CM or other edits and it seems to confirm my thoughts / findings. Approaching the RedLight cameras i used before i was under the speed limit, slight blip with the right foot and alerts started up, dropping below the speed limit silenced the alerts but the icon remained.
Coming back in other direction i stayed under the limit (of course) all the way through the junction and no alert at all..... |

Paul, first of all thank you for your help, I am confused by what you have said do you mean that you have to exceed the speed limit to activate the red light audio camera warning ? |

It would appear so. I also checked this against a Gatso and a Monitron and they exhibit the same behaviour.
I'll check again later today and this week as i may have missed the Initial Proximity Alert.... |

Would a fix be to change the red light camera to a speed camera as from what you have said this is how it is operating, is it possible that other junctions with this configuration could be acting the same ?
Sorry for harping on but I would like to try and understand the situation. |

Well the only conclusion is i can't get consistant results. Some times it alerts and sometimes it doesn't. Even today i went through 3 cameras under the speed limit and not a murmur until i went over the limit hence my earlier post. However a simulated run of the route confirms the camera do generate an alert under the speed limit....
I'll come back to this another time..... |

I don't know if this has any bearing on the problem but the voice warnings are VERY LOUD, making the Nuvi unit vibrate and being slightly distorted |
