For the last couple of weeks(ish?), the RSS feed isn't working for me - http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/speed-camera-rss.php
Neither in Firefox or pRSS Reader for WM6.
Is it you or me?
Cheers. |

Wasn't this discussed before but fizzled out?
RSS Owl 2.0 standalone reader same here.
The last feed I got for this was 18th Dec 2008 22:17, and that came as a bit of a surprise. Its been iffy ages for me.
The other 14 feeds I watch work OK. |

All the feeds work for me here tested on Safari, Firefox 3.05 and my RSS Newsreader of choice NetNewsWire. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Using FF v3.0.5 if you attempt to subscribe using live bookmareks it gives, as you say, the failed to load error.
If I attempt to subscribe using Feedreader it subscribes me to the main news page http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/backend.php
If I enter the http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/speed-camera-rss.php direct into my newsreader (Feedreader) then all is ok.
Also mentioined in this thread |

I'll ask that this be looked into. It works for me but I'm on a Mac and have no easy way of testing it on Windows systems. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I think it's the link in the description "This first release of 2009 sees..." The ampersands in the URL are not encoded. IE7 can't add it as a feed and if I save the feed as an XML file, IE won't open it, complaining about missing semicolons. If I encode the url by hand (& goes to &) then it loads just fine.
Given the posting date, this is also consistent with it not working "for the last couple of weeks" as mentioned earlier. |
