If you are using Home on the computer, you will have to "log out" one before connecting the other. Hopefully, you have different email addresses set up for both units as this will cause problems otherwise.
If you are just backing them up or copying POIs etc, they can both be seen fine - they appear as separate drives in Windows Explorer though you'll have to be careful to know which is which. It's best just to connect them one at a time. _________________ Gerry

For TT Home, you MUST have two email addresses.
You can make each device recognisable by using its Splash Screen. How about His and Hers like this...

Use Windows Explorer to see on the device where the file splash.bmp is ignore these words in blue- it will be in the map folder (United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland probably). Using Explorer, rename it to splashold.bmp
Then start Windows Paint and open that file. Add the text Hers wherever you fancy, in whatever colour you fancy (my own example is pure brilliance of course!) Then do File, Save As, and name it splash.bmp Ignore (just make sure that it is being saved into your map folder).
And that's the business! Make sure you disconnect the device PROPERLY from your computer by right clicking the drive it has connected at and selecting Eject - ON NO ACCOUNT just pull the USB plug out.
Edited to correct my stupid error. Just imagine the above without the words in blue. Thanks to Andy_P for pointing this out below. _________________ Dennis

Quack, Quack, Oops... Dennis
splash.bmp isn't in a folder, it's in the root / base level / outside any folder / where the system files are (call it what you will!) |

You can make/use your own or mod the existing.
Size is usually 320W x 240H x 24bit res
Save as .bmp format type which needs the name:
splash.bmp (for the opening screen)
or
antitheft.bmp (for the closing screen)
Do BACKUP your original ones first via Explorer. |
