Hi, Hubby bought me a satmap for Xmas & so far I am well chuffed! I have managed to plan 3 routes & followed them without a problem. My question is, if after planning a route, you wish to change the start & finish points of a walk how do you go about doing it? I have managed to move waypoints but cant edit the start/finish markers. E.g. Say I have plotted a circular 10 mile walk on the satmap but then I decide that I would rather start the walk 4 miles further round to avoid a steep climb at the end how do I move the start/ finish flags 4 miles further round, but still keep the same circular 10 mile walk. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou |

Hi there, I'm not sure of a way to do what you are asking. What I do is simply activate the route from the routes menu and then start the walk where ever I want to. The satmap just picks you up where ever you start the walk and tracks your progress along the route. |

KinderQueen,
There is a section in the Quick Start Guide about moving waypoints and POI if this is any help.

As an extra to Bosuns message -
Go to Main Menu - Routes Menu - Select track to change - Edit - Select Edit Waypoints - Edit - Select SP(start) or last WP - Edit - Select edit location by (1)Grid (or (2) by map) - Edit - Assuming (1) Use joystick to change values - Done |
