I recently asked about the above, but after not being able to find any, I've made my own. I've made one for each of the different types of camera/warning available on my 540 Live.
They use a siren sound, followed by a computerised, female, UK voice.
I've made them available for download if anyone is interested:
"Warning, static speed camera ahead"
"Warning, average speed camera area"
"Warning, temporary speed camera ahead"
"Warning, ungated railway crossing ahead"
"Warning, bi-directional speed camera ahead"
"Warning, miscellaneous camera ahead"
"Warning, toll road camera ahead"
"Warning, restricted road camera ahead"
"Warning, mobile speed check area ahead"
"Warning, accident blackspot ahead"
"Warning, red light camera ahead"
I used an iMac, with GhostReader & GarageBand. If anyone's interested I'll do more with different announcements/voices/etc.
Apologies if I'm breaking any rules by offering the download here.

If you download a free program "Audacity" (Google that word for the link) you can certainly edit off the siren and you MAY be able to increase the volume a little.
I haven't downloaded those alerts my self so they may already be as loud as they will go, but in Audacity you can use the Effects/Amplify command to see if you can squeeze a bit more without it distorting. You may need to tick the "Allow clipping" option.
If you are feeling like more of a challenge, you can try the "compress" function too, which will give better results without clipping distortion.
Just remember that in audacity you always need to use "Export as...ogg" to re-save the modified files rather then "Save".
