Tomtom GO 530 map version

hi guys

ive just got a new tomtom GO 530 its still new and wrapped up.

basically im looking to sell it on as i have a tomtom GO 720 already, but one of the potential buyer asked me whats the map version on the tomtom. now is there any way i can find which version by not ripping everything apart?!

anyone by chance knows the standard map version they come installed?!

any helps would be much appreciated

If it has not been used before and straight out of the wrapper would it not be covered by the latest maps guarantee anyway ?

I bought a 520 a few weeks ago and it had the v715.7103 United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland map.

But this was updated immediately to the v815.2003 using the LMG.

I'd expect the 530 would have the same.

A colleague of mine has just got a new one, with easyport mount, and it had the very latest v8.15 uk map on it!

Yes i know he's referring to a 530, my post was just to illustrate that some devices come with the latest map. Most however don't!
