This should be a simple one for you guys.

I have a TomTom One which I have been using for some time now and it would be difficult to do my job without it (agency trucker).

What I need to do is put in the post codes of my next, say, 20 drops and have the GPS sort them out into the order which is the shortest route.
Cant seem to find out how to do this. Can anyone help?

Thanks
Max

Such a feature is not available on TomTom's. It's called multi-drop or route optimisation.

IIRC Garmin have this facility.

The Garmin 7xx, xx5 and 8xx series do have this. However there is a bug with the 7xx series at the minute where having more than 6 waypoints leads to the final destination being replaced with one of the stops you choose.

Max: Would TYRE help at all?

It won't optimise automatically but I use it occasionally to show way points on Google Maps and to order them logically by eye before downloading them as an itinerary to my TT.

I know that's not quite what you want but it may save you a bit!
