We are (hopefully) going to get another vehicle this weekend, however it has a heated front screen.
I have been told that my Go530 will not work with this ??
True or false..or is it time to get the mapbook back out of storage
Thanks

I have no GPS problems with a Go530 in a car with a heated front screen.
I do seem to have problems with the TMC traffic quickly getting a signal, it does eventually, but I do not believe that is a result of the heated front screen as that aerial runs up the glass beyond the edge of the elements. |

Neither my ONE v2, or GO 540 have any problems with my Mondeo's headed windscreen (NB: I do position it in the bottom right corner where there is a small area with no elements - but that's not been provoked by lack of signal anywhere else, that's just where I like it - I've never even tried it anywhere else) |

No current system will be affected by heated windscreens. The older GPS chip-sets were affected but more modern chip-sets have been out for a number of years now that are not. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Firstly make sure She Who Must Be Obeyed can drive using the TomTom.
Then try them all in the following sequence:-
Beer Wine Gin
YES NO NO
NO YES NO
NO NO YES

If you don't make it to the last one you should be past caring anyway.!!!!!
