mobymemory doing them for 40 quid. Don't know about the postage though.
I think maplin were going to sell them but was actually in my local yesterday having a rumage and didn't see any for sale. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100.
Quick check shows them doing a PNY 16gb at £16.99 free post, a word of warning tho, SDHC cards are slower than std SD cards so if speed is critical make sure you go for the fastest class 6 card. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8

Now how did you do that??
I bought an 8Gb from play for 10 quid last week, couldn't see any 16Gb or would have bought one.
I think I am losing it, I thought I saw Play and Maplin doing the 16Gb, didn't mention it in reply because I couldn't find them again. Sure I saw Play doing them as an 'offer' about a week ago as well.
Never mind, old age and al that.

See main page for flash memory cards and then click -more, the 16gb do not show on first page and there is quite a few even 32gb, referring to play.com by the way. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8

Hi,
No, items don't seem to be logically arranged within categories on the play.com website, but you can search for '16gb', etc..
Note that the original topic of this thread was microSD and I don't think the larger capacities are nearly as cheap as standard SDs yet. In general, microSDs are in the phone section on play.com, and SDs in the computing or electronics sections.
It's also worth checking 7dayshop.com (which is better arranged) although their postage/handling charge has to be considered. But I've never found Maplin prices to be anywhere near as low for memory cards and I don't recommend ebay as there are so many fakes.

Hi,
Currently £39.99 delivered from Play.com, but they will only ship to the UK (they are located in the Channel Islands). Also £39.99 (inc VAT, +shipping) from Mobymemory.com.
If Mymemory (or Moby) will ship to your required address (Uganda?) then they may be the safest option. Otherwise look for an apparently reliable ebay seller, perhaps in Hong Kong.

The class denotes the speed of the card, I use an 8GB Class 6 in my TomTom and 6GB class 4 in the Touch Cruise phone, no problems with either card in way of read / write speed - Mike

Hi,
The term "class" was coined for SD-HC (SD High Capacity) cards to describe the speed. Can't say I've seen many class 2, class 4 is "typical" and the fastest are class 6. The idea was to get away from the "nnn times" specifcation of ordinary SD cards which was based on the speed of the original CDROMs !
The whole issue is complicated, and different speeds apply to reading and writing. Writing speed (which is always slower than reading) can be important for cameras, but may be largely irrelevant if you just want to play back MP3s or videos, etc..
