hi,
I have recently purchased a go 520 and on first using it ,the volume does not seem to be too loud even when nearly turned up to 100 percent,is this normal for these 520 models or am i needing to change something in the settings for the volume thanks to anyone for any advice |

Are you running it on the battery, as this affects the volume.
With my 720 plugged into the cigarette lighter socket and the volume set to 80% I can hear it perfectly well while driving, even with music playing quite loudly. _________________ Anita

Hi anita,
Yes the volume was when it was on battery power, never thought of that have now tried it when connected to car cigarrette lighter and sound is fine now, thanks for the advice |

You'll also find the "text to speech" (aka "Computer") voices ar elouder than the real recorded ones.
This can be rather annoying though as if you use a TTS voice, any POI warnings not using the same voice will be slightly quiet in comparison. There are no individual volume settings unfortunately. |
