Hi there - I am now the proud owner of a Tomtom Go 730 which is awesome. I am just running a bit stuck with POIs. Can someone answer the 2 questions below please...
1. How can I delete all the current default Tomtom UK (I am happy to leave the European ones as is) POIs.
2. Is there a way I can autoupdate POIs from this site each time I connect my machine (as per POIedit)?
Many thanks in advance. |

can't get to my tom-tom right now so can't help with the first .....i think it's the poi.DAT (but get a better answer beore you start deleting AND BACKUP ALL WITH EXPLORER) but if you delete it all tom-tom poi's go and you can't edit it
the 2nd ,the simple answer is no you can't auto update you have to download poi's each time if you want to update then add to your TT _________________ TomTom 5001 |

You're confusing POIs and Speed Cameras. The speed camera database is released at fixed intervals, but the POIs could be updated at any time. |
