Gary, the Divis transmitter uses 101,9 so it should pick up something from that station assuming it is in fact transmitting the data, Londonderry uses 100,5 AFAIK the tuning on these devices is fully automatic - Mike |

As long as the Map data has the traffic location tables then you should pick up the information.
If not then check the next map update has the traffic location tables for N. Ireland |

I've just got a TT1v4 and I have received the traffic info today about roadworks at M3 and M2 down to one lane at Sandyknowes.
Hopefully it should also transmit the M2 closing tonight as well.
I have heard that it is best to have the aerial for the RDS Traffic at 45degrees - also older RDS-TMC addons seemed to have alot of problems with picking up any transmissions. |

So far, TMC is only showing a lane closure for the M2 and it has updated.
According to Trafficwatchni website...
The M2 Motorway will be closed in both directions between Sandyknowes J4 and Greencastle J2 from 22:00 Saturday 13th to 11:00 Sunday 14th September. Signed diversions will be in operation.
so TMC is out of touch again it seems. Can anyone confirm that the M2 from J2-J4 (Northern Ireland) is actually closed? |
