hi
anbody with one of these longer flexable mounts confirm if the actual square part that fits the unit 'swivels' on its mount?
i notice its a herbert richter connection that i wish to detach from the goose neck part and use on its own to fit my permanent in car one but want it to swivel
hope that makes sense
cheers |

this is what i am on about:
cant make out if the square tomtom bit is fixed or on a 'ball' joint like the included mount
like i said i have a herbert richter fixed mount and wa ssurprised to find after purchase that the GO 520 attaches on a angle and as such is now pointing upwards and cant be seen in daylight
hope someone responds that this mount will work |

Hi pacemaker1000
I haven’t got one of the mounts that you are interested in but by the look of your picture its the long bendy neck that does the swivelling.
However, if the bit that you are interested in does actually swivel I too could find a use for one of those. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

I have one of these mounts and can confirm that they do have a ball/socket swivel immediately behind the square that slots into the TomTom.
The mounts themselves are useless as the bendy arm is just too springy, making the TomTom hard to read when driving.
Mines been in a drawer since the day after I bought it.
If anyone wants to buy it to 'cannibalise' then make me an offer
I don't know how to post a pic or I would have done of the swivel part - if you want a pic e-mailed let me know. |

It's been sat in a drawer so I'm happy to sell as long as the price is worth the hassle of packing, posting etc
I have no idea if it fits a 'herbert richter' (I've never heard of him / it). I can give you any dimensions you like if that helps.
Yes, I have paypal. |

the tomtom bit of your mount will hopefully be removable from the arm by pressing it upwards where it should click and then come away to reveal a standard herbert richter universal mount used by many manufacturers
when removed it shoule look like this
be grateful if you could confirm this
thanks
