Hello all, I have been reading this forum with interest. I just bought a Zumo 550 and downloaded the DB for Continental Europe. All went fine with the download. My only problem is that I see the icon for the camera when I am in the direct area but I do not hear any sound related to that alarm. What do I do wrong. Read all I could read about this but cannot find the answer. Can someone assist a newcomer?

Are you talking about the buiilt in camera alerts or the custom ones loaded from this site?
Have you checked both volume controls? Have you been into the system properties and made sure all proximity alerts are enabled?

Hello Alan, in fact I am refering to both the preinstalled and the pocketgpsworld DB. I assume that the volume control is the same as for the direction. I can hear the direction all right but not the proximity alerts. I also checked and both POIs are enable. I do not seem to find a specific tone for the proximity alert so I assume it is the same as for the directions. |

Well, assuming the system volume for mp3/audible is also at 100%, then I have no idea.
