Holux GR-230 battery

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the GR-230 battery is replaceable and at what cost?
And also if the unit is used for a couple of hours and then put back on charge will this shorten the life of the battery? i.e. not draining the battery (to condition it) before a recharge.

Hi,

Looking at my 230 I'd make a safe assumption that you wouldn't be able to change the battery. Maybe if it was sent back to Holux they could exchange it somehow for a fee.

Its a Lithium Ion battery so you can mistreat them how you want. They aren't suppose to suffer from the memory effect but in best practice they always recommend draining as you've said.
