Can someone tell me how to notify our splendid camera team of an apparent anomaly in the database. The TomTom OV2 database displays the 40 icon but there is no verbal warning. The camera on the other carriageway works properly.
I have noticed this for a couple of iterations of the database now and it didn't work on Friday.
Any ideas?
Mike

It's possible that the heading information is missing or that the camera needs moving slightly in order to give the correct warning on your TomTom.
The way to do this is through the submissions page.
When you click on the camera in question, it will give you a camera ID just above the top left of the map.
Type this number into the PGPSW Camera ID box and click on the "AutoFill Current Values" button.
Add any missing data (heading etc).
Below this is a Details and Description box, where you need to add a concise description of why the camera needs changing.
Or perhaps there are two cameras (one for each direction), but only one is currently in the database - in which case, you need to add a new camera via the submissions page. _________________ Andy

Another possibility is that when both cameras (or any POI) is from the same category, you often only get thr verbal warning once. when you have passed the first one, you may get the second warning if there is time before you passed that as well.
On the map display, both should show with the flashing red box around them. _________________ Gerry

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately I have not been past the cameras again but I will do so on Friday and will check all the issues raised and report back.
My mum said always to tell the truth: the camera team are splendid!
