Ive just been thinking, is it possible to create a POI list for NAVMAN/TOMTOM/etc.... for the locations of Phone boxes i.e. say you've broken down and have stupidly not charged your mobile or left it at home/work... then you could find the location of the nearest one .... i wonder if BT will supply a list of their locations? ;-) |

If you can find a list of the locations in the right format, it's an easy job to turn it into a POI file.
Needs to end up with coordinates in Latitude/Longitude format, not grid references or postcodes! |

i found a page on BT.com http://www.payphones.bt.com/publicpayphones/payphones.htm that has payphone locations, BUT its in the format POST_TOWN - THOROUGHFARE_NAME - LOCATION - POST_CODE .... wonder how easy it would be to persuade them to do a Long/Lat one instead [/i] |

It's unbelievable the rate that they are disappearing around this area. _________________ Richard

Will the vandalised ones also be included, I think its part of the rundown not to repair them, it saves on the cost of removal. _________________ Moto G5s Plus, Sygic 17.4.8 |
