Hi Guys,
I've just 'won' an ipod on fleabay and wondered if it was worth getting the tomtom - ipod connector lead? halfrauds have one at half price at the moment...
does it add anything to it or not?! or is it just a case of pressing buttons on the tomtom instead of pressing them on the ipod?

It adds a lump and a tangley string. You could replace those with a couple of SD cards in your shirt pocket. I think. Maybe. _________________ Dennis

Problem is you cannot charge the iPOD and connect it to the Go at the same time unless someone has manufactured a cable capable of doing this.
I would grab an 8GB or 16GB SDHC card and put the music on that, insert it to the 520 and away you go - Mike |

you can also buy a mount for the i-pod that transmits to the radio and it works very well and is exceptionally clear, much better than the tt to radio fm transmitter |

It's a complete waste of time IMHO as are the FM Tx devices. I gave up in the end and got one of these:
Full iPod connectivity, album art on screen etc and the iPod now sits in the glovebox. _________________ Darren Griffin |
