Hi guys
To save disc space, I removed some unused voices on my TT NE v4. Thats not a problem, but the icon for the removed voices is there, greyed out, which kinda defeats some of the objective of speeding up navigation through the available voices.
Is there some way of removing the greyed out icons? These are the standard TT voices, and one in particular is annoying as I reinstalled it, and it now has a visible selectable icon, and a greyed out one! |

no, the list of voices is hard coded. You don't gain any speed by deleting the physical files. _________________ Lutz

thanks for your reply. it's not actual operating performance speed, its having fewer icons to skip through to get to the one I want (esp when my son is choosing a voice) to make it easier and faster.
however I'm puzzled as to why a reinstalled voice should create a new icon rather than use it's original, greyed out one. |

Excellent question. I would like to hear TomTom's answer to that one too :-) _________________ Lutz
