As the heading says, TT Home says there are no updates available. Is there any way to force an update?? |

Back up the device using Windows Explorer then use Windows Explorer to delete the loose files in the root of the drive, do not delete any of the folders though.
Connect it to the PC and start TomTom Home, it should offer the latest software which will be a two stage update, first time you will get 7,481 then repeat the update to get the 8,010 release - Mike |

By loose files, do you mean any files which are not in folders??
Regards
Dick
OK, i've done as you said and all appears to be working. Now on 8.010.
Thanks very much.

connect2internetdb.ver
data.chk
fm201parameters
fmsignal
InstallTomTomHOME.exe

splashw.bmp
system
tomtom.ico

The way I got it to do it was...
1/ Made a back up.
2/ Opened Home and Selected "Remove items from my device"
3/ Selected the Application.
4/ Once I'd removed it, I disconnected, reconnected & then I did an update.
Which worked. |

Phone is a Motorola Razr v3. Previously data worked, i was able to access TT Traffic, and also receive text messages, although for some reason i was never able to reply to them. Now i can do neither. |

Try deleting the phone from the TomTom and the TomTom from the phone then re-pair the two devices - Mike |
