I reported a number of gantry-mounted Gatsos on the M42 around Birmingham but they haven't appeared in the database. They look exactly the same as the ones in the database and are definitely there, so I'm not sure why they haven't been included. Have they been identified as dummies, or something along those lines? |

I am confused....
You are quoting a reply from long ago, to a question that didn't seem to belong here.
If you want to know about the speed camera data base from this site, it is updated every two weeks or so, and the most recent version came out on the 21st of August 2008.
Here is a breakdown of what it contains:
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/activecams.php
and you can click on the camera sign at the top left of this page to find out how to get it.
What is "siteweb" that you mention? |

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I went to Birmingham yesterday & going up went from junctions 6 to 10 & coming back, obviously, went from 10 to 6.
In the roadworks there is 50mph specs cameras but theyve finished the roadworks at junction 10 & the specs cameras are not there, however, my sat nav never stopped telling me it was an average speed area of 50mph.
I dont know how to work out where the cameras are & was wondering if theres any forum members in the area that would know how to work out where the cameras actually are now? |

Whose Speed Camera database do you have on your SatNav, the PGPSW version or one provided by your manufacturer? If it is the PGPSW version, how old is it?
The current version of the PGPSW database does not show any SPECS cameras on that section of the M6 or the M42 (not sure which road you were driving on!). |
