I have just downloaded the latest camera database for my tomtom.
The tomtom OV2 type UK speed zoned complete.
I unzipped it and then copied it over to the tomtom but during this process I noticed that every file copied seemed to be exactly the same size as the one already on the tomtom from the previous database download.
Has nothing changed? Release.txt says that I have version 6.065. Am I cracking up? Is there a new camera that I can check to see if it is in my download?

You may find that the file size is rounded up to say 80kb but comparing the actual file size you will see one might be 80,128 bytes and the other 80,458 bytes.
They are different, I've checked, we had a similar question from a Mod earlier this eve! _________________ Darren Griffin |

Sorry Darren it's not a rounding error.
Every file is exactly the same size as it was two weeks ago. I am looking at the number of bytes reported by winzip not the size in Kbytes.
I'll try to upload a picture of the two downloads listed side by side shortly. [/img] |

As am I and mine (looking at individual files) are different.
Anyway, lets allow MaFt the opportunity to respond before we all get ahead of ourselves. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I'm happy to allow MaFt to respond.
I can't show my side by side images as they are unreadable within the 400 pixel forum width limit but the jpg can be found

I've deleted the link because it shows the unique file ID. Although this has a limited time validity, it could allow someone to circumvent the anti-piracy system.
I've notified MaFt and we'll have an answer soon enough _________________ Darren Griffin |

Ok, sorry about that, I didn't appreciate that the name could help the pirates. I've deleted the picture from the web site.
