Look through previous posts, especially the first one....
Changes include:
Traffic works better
Ready for Avdvanced Lane Guidance and IQ routing when v8 maps available,
Compass functionality reduced.
Additions to possible mapshare corrections |

Just updated mine, does anyone know if the RDMS-TMC reciver works now?? Mine stopped working when they put the HD traffic in on the last update (v7.481??). It used to work fairly well when I first got it but since that update it never worked. |

The one new point that outweighs all the others is that it switches on immediately - allegedly, RDS - TMC works as well, we will see. _________________ TT Go 720 (T)

Having installed v 7.480 but stopping short of 7.481 I only get offered the update option of 7.481. Presumably I need to go through the 7.481 update before I can proceed to 8.010. Is it worth it ?? Or am I asking for problems ?

Assuming the Navcore 8 release is still available (and it should be) your device will first of all update to version 7,481 prior to updating to the Navcore 8,010 software - Mike |

You can type quick enough Mike. Thanks, so If I just click on the 7.481 update the whole process should go through to 8.010? I'll have another pint before trying anything. Thanks |

Hi
I have just upgraded to the Nav core ver 8 on my GO920T and I seem to have lost 5 sub menu pages from the change preferences menu and I now have only 3 is this correct? only I've lost the "clear route" feature, the Lane guidence (which was there and now isn't) any ideas anyone
in anticipation

ALG wasn't present on v7 so what version were you running before? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi yea sorry I was running v7.481. Lane guidance wasn't part of this app but when I upgraded to v8.010 it was there initially and now its not and as I mentioned I now have only 3 menu pages under the the change preferences menu

If you only have three pages of Change Preferences menus available then you need to go to Change Preferences/ Show All Menu options - then you will get it back again - Mike |
