Hi s3dbw,

When I was looking at the GPS Passion forums yesterday in search of the French speed camera database, I remembered seeing a few posts about a Swiss database.

I have just had another look at the forum to see if I could find the link to download the POI file, but I can't seem to find it - only people talking about the various locations that are in the file!

I am currently awaiting membership rights to this forum so when these come through and I can access all of the forum areas I will have another look. It may be that the information is hidden from me at the moment as I am only visiting the forum as a guest.

Thanks for the link, I have translation software so the language barrier isn't a problem. The opening comment literally translated is below and would appear to indicate that they are planning on putting a list together, however the thread does not contain a GPS database yet.

"Thank you to inform HERE the POI concerning the FIXED and MOBILE radars of SWITZERLAND. This collection is based initially on the same principle that the Radars FRANCE (two lists of POI, for the FIXED ones, for the MOBILES).
This list will consist of your INPUTS. Its richness will thus dependra above all of your collaboration. Thank you thus preciser the type of Radar, the raised co-ordinates (in decimal degree of preference), the repere of the road (or sees) and/or feel it, as well as the speed limit with the raised position.

The list Radars SWITZERLAND will be updated régulierement (frequency has to define according to the necessite and the animation of the list)"
