Hi
Having downloaded and installed the camera database onto my Zumo 550 I gave it a test run to check it out < I found that the only warnings I am getting are speed restriction zones ( ie, 70mph zone ect.)There is no indication of speed cameras/types as shown when I activate the built in garmin database,
Suggestion please
regards

Hi Joe, I'm not that familiar with Garmin but I do know they only trigger if you exceed the limit as you approach a camera? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren
Even when exceeding the speed limit when approaching a known fixed camera site, my zumo only said (70mph zone ahead) ect .I think I will switch off the pocket gps info and try the Garmin data base to see what difference there is
Thanks

How did you install the database to the Zumo?
Do the camera appear in your Custom POIs? They should be listed under Where To?, Extras, Custom POIs
Have you got Proximity Alerts on? Spanner, Proximity Points, Proximity Alerts |

hi joe,
just checked your download history and you've been getting the gpx files.
you will be better off going for: Garmin POILoader / Consolidated by Type
then you will get icons per camera type as well as specific speed warnings

Yes, BUT just get the poiloader version this time! there's no need to download the gpx file then install and remove and then get the poiloader ones
just the poiuloader csv files
