I have not been able to get co pilot 7 to avoid tolls even though I have avoid tolls set. Below is the response from ALk:

Hi, this is interesting as i run CP7 and yet mine does actually avoid the toll roads, as a matter of interest what is the exact version your running and what is the device its used on. I have a MDA Copmpact III running Copilot version 7.0.6.68 with toll roads set to "avoid if possible" rather than always avoid - dont know if this is making the difference ???????? |

Didn't know there were any toll roads around Trafalgar Square?
Perhaps you mean the London Congestion Charge? _________________ CoPilot Live 7, Fugawi Global Navigator, Pocket Streets, iPAQ 5550, GlobalSat BT338 GPS, Brodit Powered PDA mount, Jabra BT250 headset. |

yeah i do mean the london congestion charge, as the setting is toll roads, i was making the assumption that the congestion charge zone would be covered by this, as every road which goes into the zone is a toll road effectively |

Have you tried the 'congestion Zones' settings?
Settings, Routing, - "Avoid", "Allow" or "Warn When Routing". |

Well I suppose version 7.7.0.134 is some improvement as it now works for some tolls for me. I know it is a silly example but set to avoid it routes round the Severn bridges. However, the Plymouth Tamar bridge it does not. Maybe it is now down to the map data. |
