I currently run Igo on an old Dell X5 with wired GPS/TMC receiver.
I am changing cars and want to replace this setup. Does anyone produce a Satnav unit with inbuilt tmc/gps that support Igo? |

Quote: | igo 8 runs great on the htc tytn ii | Interesting! When I checked recently iGO8 has only just been released in Hungary. Prior to that it could be had a a Demo which ran out last February.
Quote: | At their press conference in Budapest on 17 th April, Nav N Go announced that the memory card version of their new 3D navigation software will be launched in Hungary within a fortnight, followed by the start of product distribution all over Europe. Nav N Go iGO 8 Europe contains detailed maps covering 43 European countries, and also brings a number of new features to the navigation experience. | I checked Nemesis Technology, the distributors for UK and they are still selling iGO 2006+. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Something the width and depth of a standard car radio, but twice as high. _________________ Phil |

Why?
The maps on Igo 2006+ are way out of date - wherever you go, but the maps on Igo 8 are as up to date as you are likely to get.
If anyone disagrees please let me know more up to date maps as I will want to look at the software. |
