After my phone call mentioned above TT Home has given me Map version 715.1703. (Took an hour to d/load and install!)
I have also been given version 7.481 of the software which I assume is the replacement for the troublesome 7.480.
Anyway, I've taken the plunge and installed it. Unfortunately I won't be able to road-test it today as I've been lumbered with baby-sitting the Grandchildren.
Plus, I want to get these damned .ogg files sorted out first.

Tell him to make that THREE maps - Western and Central Europe, North America and Guam. _________________ Dennis

Ken
This has been mentioned elsewhere but do you have an SD card in your device in addition to the internal memory? Tobas could not get v715 on his as the US map has increased greatly in size.
I am still waiting on a response from TT to upgrade my maps and need to know if I have to look for an SD card pdq. |

Well I've finally got my .ogg files to work!
D/loaded 7v481 plus 715.1703 map update (courtesy of TT support).
Re-installed Cameras and .ogg files and now everything is working.
Still haven't sussed out what the original problem was though.

I have the same problem. Same ogg files (from this site) I know work fine with the 910 fail completely on the 720. Mine gave up at redlight and won't do any of the specs.
I have 35 ov2 files but many more seem to appear on the POI menu - something to do with the new firmware?
Edit: OK fixed it. They're all in a poi.dat file - if you rename that then the extra POIs disappear and you can add all the speed camera warnings.
It seems this file causes the limit of ov2 files to be somewhat smaller than on previous releases.
I presume updating the maps works because they don't ship with that file. |

Whatever your particular issue is it has nothing to do with the POI.dat file. My 720 works fine using the .ogg files with the POI.dat intact _________________ Darren Griffin |
