Does anyone know of a program that will allow me to back up my favourites to the PC? |

Hi Paul, I have the i3. I used to have a program that did this but had a serious crash that entailed building a completely new computer and lost the program altogether. |

Hi PaulB2005....can you recommend a similar (or will this work?) for a 250W please...
Thanks..
[Edit] = just found a current.gpx file which appears to be an xml list of the favorites?? Is it just a case of copying this somewhere safe ?? |

It looks like it. I did, somehow, get my favourites on a Nuvi 760 by copying and replacing this file.
However i now keep all my Favourites in a POI file instead. Much better, easier to back up and restore. I use Favourites to temporarily store a point and then transfer it to the POI file when i get home. |

Yes exactly that. I did this to transfer my Favourites to my new Nuvi that was replaced under warranty. _________________ Nick Russell

I've had my i3 for about three years now. Have just made an 800 mile trip and discovered that the maps are wildly out of date.
I've had a look at the Garmin site and cannot find any reference to updated maps.
Can anyone help please. |

Put your serial No in here.
If you have registered your unit with Garmin then log into your myGarmin account and you can order the updates from there as well. _________________ Chas

Tried both those Chas. No updates available. It would appear that Garmin have dropped the i3 completely.
If that's so, I shall be replacing it with another make. |
