Halfords seem to have dropped the price on these LG units to £99.90!
Bargain!

Thanks for that, NOT - still I think they are clearing the shelves, you might struggle finding one in store - happy hunting - Mike |

Didn't want to rub it in!
Still considering getting one - did you test BT handsfree to the LG at the same time as streaming audio?

You are right there - no reserve and collect just home delivery.
Looks like a stock clearout.

My newly installed Blaupunkt Hamburg MP68 won't connect via BT to my TomTom.
I am quite miffed! |

I know Mike tried a few different models until he found one that worked.

Opps
The FM works to a fashion.
The real reason I bought this model was because it's got a feature that you can use to mix the TomTom instructions + music from the headunit. Just need another cable then I am sorted |

It is a while since this thread was updated, but if you have a car deck that supports Bluetooth and your TomTom refuses to locate it have a look at This Thread, the trick is to download This and extract the files to the TomTom, the device can then see far more BT devices than previously, this has been confirmed on page two of This Thread. - Mike |

It most definitley does work!!!
The only drawback is that the TT will see every Bluetooth device that is visible, regardless of it supporting A2DP or not so some common sense has to prevail when choosing what to pair with.
Whilst 'researching' this in Halfords over the last few days I had a list of at least 20 devices to use for A2DP, including every TT they had on display in the shop, plus about 5 mobile phones!!
I have tested with the following head units - Sony BT3600U and BT5000, JVC KD-AVX33 and 44 (neither of which need the fix), LG LAC7700R (which obviously doesn't need the fix) and Parrot RK8200 (which is probably the most unstable piece of kit I have ever seen - don't even consider buying one).
