No, it doesn't work with Vista. [When I messed around with trying to get an USB connection with Vista I seemed to have some success but no data was transferred and I used a hacked version of Mio Synch].

In short if you have Vista you should walk past all Mio products. Vista support is not forthcoming except for the (now legacy) C620 which does provide for limited Vista connectivity.

How annoyed would you be if you owned a Mac?!

Seriously, Mio is a joke. Don't buy their products if your have any respect for your hard earned money.

Oddly there isn't much available that will work with Vista. It's odd when you consider that it is the latest Windows OS and that XP will cease to be bundled after a short while. There's now zero chance of Miomap 3.x Vista software being released.

TomTom supports Vista (and Mac for that matter) but other than that not much else does afaik.

Some companies such as HP were bullied in to producing drivers for "legacy" devices but most hardware companies haven't bothered.

After a promising start (I thought) I gave up on the Miomap Vista hacks.

I have never had a problem with c510 and Vista. I have never had to do anything like a work around; it just worked.

What issues/errors are being encoutered by people?

EDIT: Just re-read thread I have a Garmin c510 is that what is being referred to in this thread
