Does anybody know of any apps for a Windows Mobile device, that will read GPS data at set intervals and send it via a html post or similar to a web site??
Thanks

Have a look at some of the software from Franson, This should do what you are looking for, what device are you thinking of using though? - Mike |

Already got 2 T-Mobile Compacts.
We use them for data entry on the move, and it would be good to keep track of the users\jobs aswell.

As they are PDA based phones the software I linked to will be fine on them, I only asked because they might have been SmartPhones in which case there is different software that can be used - Mike |

Looks like the stuff they do is $49 dollars a seat. Anybody know of anything freeware?
At the moment this is a curiosity\trial and I'd rather not sell out lots of money just yet. |

I wrote some stuff in Java a while ago (although not for Windows Mobile), but the easy bit was the web update - calling a PHP script on the server with the Lat/Lon as arguments.
The receiving PHP program would then write a new HTML file with a link to Streetmap. You could of course call Streetmap or Google Maps directly. _________________ G1NTX AFRIN LRPS |

Can Windows Mobile run Java? - our code runs on a Siemens TC45 or TC65/XT65/XT75 which runs Java natively. PM me if you want the code, it's available on the web, but I've been chastised for posting links here.
Or - put 'tt070215 xt65' into Google... _________________ G1NTX AFRIN LRPS |
