Not necessarily.....don't know your model but, if it were my 720, I'd:
1. Connect the unit to the computer
2. Launch TT Home
3. Go to Add Voices/Maps
4. Goto the next page (arrow right)
5. Click on Computer Voices icon
6. See the list available and select the one(s) you want
7. Download & install the computer voice (they're free)
..... and make a (Explorer) BACKUP!
That's what I'd do, anyway. |

But this is for a 910 so the supplied software disk is about as much use as a beer mat, without a backup of the required data or access to another 910 users files there is little you can do to be honest - the voice files on the 910 are about 400MB per voice so its not surprising they are not available for download to be honest - Mike |

Afraid it's not, as Mike says it's either back to TomTom or find someone else with a 910. |

I've just noticed the (much smaller) computer voice files for the x20 models ARE available for download via 'Home' - Add maps,Traffic,Voices etc page 3 of 4, (not in the same place as the ordinary voices).
I've no idea if the big ones will appear there for you if you have the Go910 connected, or for that matter if you could use the smaller ones. |
