Anyone out there upgraded to PE from AE and want to recover some of the ridiculous price that Medion charge for the disks ?
If so, let me know (unless this is illegal of course !!) |

Not a good idea this.... a few people have been 'potted' for offering similar services.
Anyhow....PE isn't as good (IMHO).
What features are you looking to gain?
Using the Forum's database & utilising voice alerts (readily available on the web) makes the AE a cracking low cost set up.
Cheers

Hmmm. Ok, thanks for that Dave. From reding other entries on this forum, I understood that the PE interface was a lot better than AE. Really I was trying to get the 3D view, which mine doesn't have. Not that it REALLY matter, still a good unit, especially as my first venture into satnav

No worries.....
I've seen AE systems with 3 D....???!!! (or am I incorrect??)
The 3 d view is great & can be modded with new backgrounds/icons & such.
However....if you use POI warner, you lose the icons when in 3 d mode (sorry for the 'lecture'... it wasn't intended).
Cheers

I'll go with dave on that one, As far as I know, all versions of the Medion GoPal software run in either 2D or 3D depending what your preference is.
I personally prefer the 2D one myseld 'cos as dave says, you get no POI Warner icons in 3D!!
