That's all valid advice for F20, F30, F40 and F50 -- not F10.
F10 is an entirely different beast, not a single thing in common with F20-50.
F20-F50 are the same generation as N-Series, but F10 came out with S-Series. |

On page 65 of the F10 manual it says that using the Navdesk software you can manage the custom poi's on the device.
If there is a problem that doesn't allow users of the F10 product to use the PGPSW database then let MaFt of Darren know so they can correct it, or warn users before they buy! _________________ Dom

In that case, unfortunately, manual is wrong. F10 (and S30) do not support custom POIs.
Navman can make their own speed camera data work on these units as they do not deliver it in custom POI format, but you cannot load PGPSW data on them. |

My F10 Manual only goes up to about 34 pages :-( There is no mention either there or on the review I read somewhere on the Navman site, to the effect that you could load third party POIs.
Perhaps someone with an F10 could clarify. _________________ Gee-Pee

I read this on the Navman manual pdf on their website Here which is directly related to the Navdesk software and conectivity kit. Maybe it is the kit that gives the f10 access to custom poi's or are navman suggesting that custom poi's are thier own camera files.
The manual does go on to show you how to install Navman's subsciption database but no mention as to do a custom database, but if I wanted people to buy my database I wouldn't be too keen to advertise how to install others. _________________ Dom

Opinion is divided, as you can see, above. Is there anyone out there who has an F10 who can confirm from personal experence _________________ Gee-Pee

What you need is NavDesk software - the F10 does not use SmartST Desktop software.......I think _________________ Gee-Pee
