i just bought the tom tom navigator 6.75 maps via the tom tom website. it downloaded the great britain maps onto my pc.
its now downloaded onto the SD card. i have the activation code, however i cannot access any onscreeen keyboard to input my activation code.
the screen also displays a message, "no maps found", however i have checked the storage card and the files from tom tom home have been transferred.
i am using a mitac mio 168.
i used to have navigator 5, working fine, now ive installed navigator 6 on a 2gb sd card, and ive got this problem. any help????
thank you!

When you installed the new Maps, did you use the method outline HERE? _________________ Richard

sorry abotu the double post.
i bought the software straight from tom tom home, so i dont have a dvd.
however i did follow each step, and it everything seems to be on my pda.
but ive been browsing the forum and relating to other tom tom versions, people have been saying the additional files of tom tom navigator 5 have to be removed from the actual pda. is this correct??
if so, i will insert my 2gb card, and remove tom tom 5 files from remove programs on my pda and then install the navigator 6 software again???? |
