How do I get my ipaq 69100 gps to work with my pc?

Ideally I would like to use autoroute on the laptop but connect the ipaq via lead (and activesync?) to make the gps work somehow on the software??? I do not wwant to use bluetooth for various reasons. Using Windows XP....

Any clues??

Have a look at Fransons GPS Gate, it offers a number of different methods to share the GPS data to/ from a PDA and PC, see Here for the Active Sync method - Mike

thanks for the reply and link.. had somebody refer that link to me from another forum but wondering if there was a 'free' way to make this work... otherwise I might as well buy an usb receiver??
