Checkpoint and TT3 help required

I've got a Mitac Mio 168 running Pocket PC2003 4.20.1081 with TT3 3.01 (409/2). I've just loaded Checkpoint 3.2.0.0 which seemed to load fine and enabled ukpostcode to work (great program BTW), which I had previously been struggling with.

Checkpoint works OK and I managed to synchronise to the POIplace website and download various POI overlays. I have set Checkpoint up to start TomTom automatically, which is does, and stop Checkpoint when TomTom is stopped.

The problem is that while the Checkpoint icon appears in the bottom toolbar when on the Today page, once TomTom starts there is no Checkpoint logo in the bottom right of the TomTom screen, as the manual says, and none of the POIs that I have activated through Checkpoint show up on the TomTom screens.

It seems that TomTom is not recognising that Checkpoint is running. Has anyone got any ideas as to what he problem might be?

POIplace POIs don't appear on the Navigator maps - so far as I remember, anyway. I don't use CheckPOInt 3 nor POIplace - it gets in the way of using (and especially submitting) points to the Pocket GPS camera database.

The icon in the bottom right of the screen will only appear in Navigator mode.
