Anyone else having problems with backup up a 910?
if i use home2, it says scanning disks and takes about an hour and does nothing, yet on another machine with home 1.5, it works fine |

Our advice has always been not to rely on HOME to perform and manage your backups. It goes wrong far too often to be relied upon.
The best method is to create a folder on your PC and then manually copy 'EVERYTHING' from your Go to that folder. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I had a problem with my text-to-speech files when I first got a 910. I don't know whether this is fixed with later versions of home/home2, but originally it didn't preserve the case. TTs run an OS which is case-sensitive whereas Windows isn't. When I copied the files back onto the TT all the filenames were folded to lowercase, and so my voices didn't work.
I would therefore echo the guidance to take your own backups and not to rely on home. It may work ok now, but it's a big job to rename each file and directory in the Loquendo area if it still doesn't.
