Blame TT for not making the SDK available. _________________ Richard

1) Thank you to you and all the other verifiers, your efforts are greatly appreciated.
2) How about adding a category to the monthly download called "needs verifying", the thousands of people currently using the database could then download and verfiy as they drive around, maybe make it only that only people who have already supplied accurate camera details can submit verifications, this would make it easier to stop people claiming to verify random camera locations just for a free subscription. |

I can only echo what some people have put on here. And well done you lot. I wonder how many £60 fines you have saved people, or accidents you have prevented.
Shame you cant get a cut... of the money, I mean not the accidents.
I do have a question though:
Near us is a site that is listed as a mobile speed trap. When I noticed it the first time, I pulled over to ask mr pleeseman why his speed trap did not conform to the regulations regarding signage. i.e. no speedcamera warning signs.
His reply was: Because it is not a speed trap. It is a avnr camera van and we catching those with no tax, insurance or license.
So how the heck do you poor guys have the time and effort to be able to tell the two apart, or do you just not bother? Or does it even matter?
I would be interested to hear what others say on this. |

we have to reply on good informative comments on the submissions and also further submissions with good local knowledge like this. if you could submit this via the online form we can get the site removed if it is only used for anpr.

MaFt, i thought it was the season of goodwill!!.
Dennis, that wasn't you on the A40 at Wycombe today was it?.
A white transit with a trailor "Dennis's transport" Grossly overloaded and the tarp almost blowing off the load.
I did laugh as i drove past it. |

I suppose i'll pay my £20 and enjoy it.
Like you Dennis i too spend all my life on the road all over the country and overseas | So it's a big mistake not to report cameras - travelling all over PLUS abroad, you get a far better chance than many members to see new unreported cameras. I know a member who got free membership from foreign cameras. What's more, your report may not be the first, but it would add to the probabilities for the camera to become accepted and if I didn't have a free membership I'd still report everything because the database helps me more than most with all the mileage I do. We know it's not easy to be the first submitter, but SOMEBODY has to be it, it might just as well be you.
I'm still struggling to come to terms with what I saw today - a Mobile van in Keynsham!!! Down by the rugby ground. His window wasn't open, so I'm having difficulty deciding whether it was alive or just parked near the Greasy Spoon. To report or not to report, that is the question. If only I had a spare skull to consult! _________________ Dennis

Are you arguing with yourself because there's nobody else to disagree with or just indecisive today??
Report it - you might just be the first and, if not, start a thread asking why you weren't the first to report it _________________ Andy

An anti tank mine placed under the front wheel of the van should sort out your dilemma. _________________ Gone fishing! |

On a recent trip down from Calais to Caen, Vere and Mont St Michel although i had the database activated i never got one warning, Surely that journey of over 300 miles must have had some?. Did anyone hear this week about the French blowing up speed cameras the police are treating them as terrorists - you have to laugh. |
